Phlebotomist - Lab Assistant

Coleman County Medical Center is currently seeking a Phlebotomist. This individual will perform venipuncture, capillary punctures, and collection of other
specimens as required to assure that the most proper and valid specimen is used for
testing. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment according to policy and
procedure. Performs clerical duties to assure that all patient and laboratory records are
maintained according to laboratory policies and procedures.

Licensed Vocational Nurse - Full Time

Works under the direction of a registered nurse and participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, and policies of the department and within the parameters of his/her scope of practice.

Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staff and other hospital departments. Assists in health teaching of the patient and family as directed by the Registered Nurse. Functions as patient advocate. Provides nursing care as appropriate for condition of patient.

Nursing Assistant (Ward Clerk) - Full Time

To collect patient information for billing and payment purposes. The Unit Secretary is responsible for performing general secretarial, receptionist, clerical, clinical duties as directed and within the scope of their practice. Assists with procedures as directed, carries out orders, instructs patients per provider instructions, documents as needed and assists with safe patient handling.
