The full-time medical staff of CCMC is comprised of three board-certified family practice physicians and a certified family nurse practitioner:  Paul Reynolds, MD, Darron Atwood, MD, John Horner, MD, and David Langley, FNP-C.  Together, they have practiced in the Coleman area for 40 years.

This solid team of well trained professionals is truly concerned about the health of their patients.  Last fiscal year they recorded over 20,500 encounters managing the routine, acute and chronic healthcare needs of their patients in the clinic, emergency department and hospital settings.  Their training and skills also allow them to offer the community minor surgery, diagnostic colonoscopies and deliveries.

Due to their long standing reputation for quality of care, CCMC physicians enjoy an excellent reputation and personal association with regional hospitals in Brownwood, Abilene and San Angelo.

Provider services extend outside the hospital and clinic into the local nursing homes where they round weekly on nursing home patients.  They also serve as the medical directors of these facilities, a required function for licensure.

Service to the community is also seen through their participation in community education activities and their contributions to continuing nursing education.

Coleman Medical Associates has achieved certification as a Patient Centered Medical Home after implementing a model of healthcare delivery that allows clinic staff to work with closely with each patient to assess health status, address specific problems and concerns and coordinate the specialty care provided by other healthcare professionals.

The hospital also works with area specialists to offer residents general surgery, ENT, cardiology and ophthalmology clinics in Coleman. Visit our Clinic page to learn how to schedule an appointment with one of these visiting specialists.
